Hi,

Hope this is the right place to ask a technical question. [br][br]I've only joined Guitartricks today. I'm working my way through the Beginner videos but I find the videos load extremely slow. Most of the time I'm looking at a loading circle, even when reducing the quality to its lowest setting. As Youtube and other streaming sites are acting perfectly normal, I know its not my Internet connection, but has to be Guitartricks Server speed. Is this happening for others as well?

Briefly, because I don't have a deep understanding of all the tech. The path from your end to GT's servers can be very circuitous . Any of the nodes along the way can be slow for numerous reasons. There was a command I knew once called 'tracert' (Trace route) that would show you all the nodes along the path and their lag times. When you experience problems like you had it's probably (99%) because of one of these nodes. Rarely would it be GT's servers specifically. Again, from memory, most nodes would be in the 50ms range except of one which would be in the 500ms range when I was having problems.

Probably more than you wanted to know but as you found out the next day everything was fine.

Thanks for your reply and suggestion. Unfortunately, the issue is back, which makes play-a-long-videos pretty much impossible.

Fortunately it seems this issue is only happening with videos embeded in the lesson. [br]When I select "Download lesson" (it's not actually downloading unless you right-click and save it), the video opens as a stand-a-lone in a new Tab and it loads super fast and without issues.

It's not ideal, but it works. I still wonder why it has issues loading the video within the lesson itself. And why no one else seems to have this issue.
