Blatantly lookin for opinions again...

I wrote this song and so far I've done it in my own key so I could do the vocals myself...

... but I'm also in the process of doing it in another key for a female vocalist I met online.

Just wanted to get some critique and opinions on stuff like, what do ya think of the song, is it the right mood, anything that needs improving...etc...
Plus, is it worth shopping to publishers for a female vocal to possibly do it or should I just keep it myself.

Any help, positive or negative appreciated.

I really like the short guitar licks with the da's and do's (2:03)

We have an french artist that often plays that kind of music. He usually has a backup female singer and it does sound really good.

I would really like to hear that song with a female voice. I think it would help the mood even more.

Have you ever tried to mix the song and fade the percussions slowly at the end. Maybe form 2:30 til the end. Only so emphasis the falling a sleep thing. It's hard to go to sleep with a drum beating in your ear :) Just a though

I think fading the percussions joined with the female voice would really bring a special feeling.

She could also whisper more than sing at the end. Like we do in real life with a kid

I would go with female voice, at least try a first draft but I think it would sound really cool.
