37 years and I still haven't learned to play guitar, even though I've always "wanted" to. However, now is the time and can't be more excited and nervous at the same time as I have a habit of not following through on new hobbies I try to dive into.

will be using this forum to learn and keep me honest at the same time. A few months from now I'll be embarrassing my kids by being "that guy" around the campfire. [br][br]

Nice to meet you all

Are you going to combine "being "that guy" around the campfire" with some "dad jokes"? I hope so! Make it something that will require years of therapy

Seriously, good luck on following through with this hobby. Come here when you need help or encouragement. Beyond the instructors, that are always very responsive, there are a lot of very encouraging fellow students here.
