What's on this Friday Night Mike?

If there is a PDF associated with it, any chance of getting it earlier?

More G and Less T in the drink bottle I say. And I am not talking about Guitar Tricks.

Regards

Hey Anthony!! It's going to be a Chord Arpeggiation BootCamp. Unfortunately, the PDF won't be available until a few hours before the session - so be sure to check the GT Channel on YouTube for it.

My wife informed me that my water bottle looked gigantic on the stream, so maybe I'll be more civilized this time by using some glassware. And I'll be sure to go heavier on the G:)

Sorry, Mike,

I missed another Friday Night G and T session,

It was all a bit weird as I checked the Channel at 10 minutes before the normal start time, there was no listing of the session. I think normally It would be on the Community Tab on the Channel page, because there was nothing there I thought it wasn't going to happen.

Anyways, I will watch the reply and definitely tune in live next Friday.

By the way, If you have time maybe you could critique me on this, only if you have time.

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Anthony

Hey Anthony! I'm not sure what happened with the stream listing on the channel - it is always posted a few days before, so not sure why it didn't show up!

I checked out both of your videos - so cool! Your restoration of that guitar was awesome, as is your playing. I have no critique at all - very smooth and expressive my friend!

Hope to see you on the upcoming session,

Cheers!

Thanks Mike,

You've made my day with those comments. Thank you. It's amazing to think of how many old but good guitars are sitting about collecting dust that will one day be thrown away. It was great to find this classical guitar on the street and be able to refurbish it. I only wish I could stumble across others.

Thanks again for viewing both the restoration and the classical piece.

Kind Regards

Anthony

Hi Mike,

I just posted this

My Lousy Take on "Black Bird" by Beatles. I tried to keep in time as best I can , Later i worked out that I played it at 91BPM and the Recorded Version is 94BPM ,so, I was kind of happy with that part of it.

Only if you have time Mike , it runs for 2min.45sec. Oh, and by the way you may get a glimpse of my favourite brand of G without the T. Full marks if you find the brand. Critique on the song is welcome please.

Kind Regards

Anthony (Hong Kong)

Is that Hendricks Gin? I am not good with Gin brands:)

Thank you Mike for the reply,

It's great to get your comments and to be able to interact with you, albeit on a public forum.

Recently on the GT site Forum I asked about and suggested that Direct Private messaging between Students and Teachers on the GT site would be a good idea. . Seems my English wasn't good enough for the admin person that replied to it or they couldn't seem to understand the difference between public and private chat.

Anyways, once again thanks for the comment. It's great to get encouragement from Teachers.

By the way, Its in the green Bottle,Tanqueray

I highly recommend it.

Kind Regards

Anthony

Morning,

Last week's "Snifter" was hilarious, probably not quite as up there as the "Golden Goblet" though, that kept me smiling all weekend that did.

I got the Cheese and KIsses to record this yesterday.

Only if you have time for a critique.

Kind Regards

Anth

Hi Anthony - I quite enjoyed your video! Great work - sounds very nice!

There is one part -- the hammer on pull off on the top string during the D chord -- this is a tough grab - so it has inspired me to make it a practice exercise in the upcoming Friday Guitar Workout session!!

The golden goblet may make another appearance at that time as well, so stay tuned!!!

Nice job my friend!

Morning Mike,

One of the limitations of Guitar tricks is that we cannot PM instructors.

(Probably good for you guys).

So, unfortunately, I must post this on a public forum.

I made this my own arrangement of Guitar Accompaniment to the Calum Scott Version of Song "Dancing on my Own" The original song was by Robyn.

If you have time I would love your Critique on how I could make this better.

Please see the link in the description for the Tab that I also made myself.

Only if you have time Mike, The Link

Cheers

Anthony McC

Hi Mike,

I don't catch enough of your Brilliant Friday night Live streams. With the change in your time zone they are an hour earlier for me these days.

I often go back and watch through though with the PDF on hand..

Mike, I see that the replay of the live streams doesn't necessarily air immediately.

It's sometimes kind of like a day later........... Is there a reason for this???

Is there a reason we cant view the replay immediately???

Cheers in advance

Anthony (Hong Kong) soon to be back home in Australia

Hey Anthony!! Thank you for the kind words!

As for the replay - I honestly have no idea why that would be the case. I'm looking into it and hopefully can get an answer over the next week or so, so stay tuned!

Hello Anthony - I heard back from our tech dept - the stream is supposed to be available right away. We have no idea why there would be a delay. We are really sorry for the inconvenience!!
