...in order to begin again! I have been having lots of trouble changing chords- my clasical guitar neck is too wide- 52mm and the scale too long, 25.5" and the Yamaha Acoustic I bought (42mm), same scale length, is too narrow. Rather than take a chance at one of the expensive crossover acoustics with custom scale length, I bought a capo for ten bucks, fitted it above the second fret (which I banded with a narrow strip of white tape to represent the nut), then re-tuned to EADGBE. Sounds very good and is now physically playable for me, with its "new" 45mm nut and 23" scale. There is some hope yet!
