Hey Dave!

Yes, it's still first inversion. All that matters is that E is on the bottom in a C Major.

Same with second inversion. All that matters is that G is on the bottom in a C Major.

You do, however, start getting into the topic of Open Voicings and Closed Voicings at some point, when you start spreading the notes out a lot.
