Hi everyone![br][br]I just joined this website a couple days ago to get ready for when my guitar arrives![br]I'm a returning player, played the electric guitar for a bit more than a year a while ago but had to give up on it for saving purposes (moved from France to Canada with very little money ^^')[br][br]Now that I'm in a more comfortable financial situation, I decided to pick the guitar back up. Will receive a Fender standart stratocaster Wednesday and really can't wait to start practicing again, even though I will realistically have to start from the beginning ^^[br][br]Wish me luck in my journey!

Oneiros5321, best of luck on your journey. This is a great site that will help you along. Doing the Fundamental courses first will provide you with a good review and perhaps teach some new techniques depending on your level before. I too played previously when life got in the way of playing. Picked up the guitar again recently. Found the Fundamentals were a good way of getting back into playing. [br][br]
Where about are you in Canada? I'm just north of Toronto. [br][br]

Hey jimk8882,[br][br]I did start to watch the fundamentals, at least the first few videos just to get an idea of how the lessons are structured.[br]I really like the fact that it's going through the important basic stuff and then branch off by style. It gives a path and structure to the course that is rarely found on online teaching websites ^^.[br][br]It does take me back to theorical things that I already know, but I want to take it easy at least to get my fingers used to the motions again.[br][br]Been living in Montreal for a few years now ^^
