So I like music and I like tech and am considering combining the two (at least in a small way) on a strat. I'd like to get it set up with at least one of the David Gilmour style pickups, if not a full set as well as his string set-up, but I have decided which strat to use as a starting point. I'm not afriad of taking a cheaper model and making sure it has the proper faraday cages added to the body, but was wondering if anyone had done this in the past or had any advice.

Thanks! I'd done a search but didn't see anything. I'd been kind of thinking about a poor man's version of the Fender black strat, but I'll have to look at the EMG version as well...
