In the lesson, under the 'Total Progress' bar, you should see some buttons with one that says 'Print Notation'. This sasumes that this is what you mean.

I can not answer whether or not you are being stupid. You may be. I often am.

But whether or not you can print the lesson is not a result of your being such. Some lessons have the "Print Notation" button. Some do not. Whether or not you can print the sheet music is completely a result of the copyright restrictions of the song in question and what rights Guitar Tricks was able to negotiate with the publisher.

There have been a few threads on how to get around the printing restrictions. They all involve doing a "screen capture" of the sheet music on the screen, loading that capture in a graphics program and then printing it.
