Hey!

Just wanted to introduce myself since I registred today!

My name is Peter, I'm 20 yrs old. Been playing for about 8-9 yrs and I play mainly progressive rock/heavy-metal. My favourite techniques are alternate speed-picking, legato playing and sweep-picking. I also LOVE odd rythm-playing a'la Meshuggah type.

I come from a small obscure town in Sweden called Kristinehamn (about 8 miles east of Karlstad, buggas' hometown).

My gear!
I currently play on an Ibanez RG7-420 7-string and a Jackson Randy Rhoades 6-string. I run the 7-string thru a Peavey Classic 50 all-tube head and a Laney TF-series 4*12. The 6-string is run thru a Laney TF-series 700 tube-preamp head 120W and the same cabinett as above.

I'm aiming for host on this site but I don't know if that's achievable.. See all you guys around!

hope you like the site. go for being a host if you are skilled enough. i would like to be a host but i dont' think i'll reach that skill level for a few more years. but i just say go for it man. have a blast.

small question how do you become a host?

Of course you are from Sweden, evry swed icluding me loves fast alternate picking. Keep on rockin´ man.

Basically you justhave to have at least 2 tricks uploaded to the site - then you can apply for beeing a host - then there is an election and if you are good enuff you get the chance. but you have to offer something valuable/unique - at the moment (as far as i know) we are on for more classical and fingerpicking stuff since we already have enough rock/metal/shred stuff.
