After being unbelievably bored for the past year since covid I decided to clean out my garage and found my electric and acoustic guitars that my parents bought me ages ago. I never got to learning to play it and regretted it so I figured I'd try it this time. I began watching a bunch of YouTube videos but felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. Eventually I came across an ad for GuitarTricks from one of the YouTube videos and figured I could get more out it than YouTube. So far its been great and I'm having a lot of fun.

Welcome! I started learning last July, also needing something to do during the pandemic. This site is defintiely great and well worth the $$. I have received a lot of tips and advice from this forum, especially in my early weeks of learning.

Have fun!
