Hi All in GT world.

Bought a Uke at the start of lockdown which I enjoyed for around 6 weeks and then decided to buy a guitar (Yamaha APX600). I’ve been primarily learning through YouTube with my focus mainly on Scottish folk music since my purchase (May). I have now decided to rewind my learning and signed up to Full Access which I’m enjoying.

This is my first foray into the forums so thought I’d drop in and say hello Ć°ÅøĖœÅ

Welcome! The forums are great, lots of learners and players on here of all levels who are very helpful.

I did the opposite as you! I was gifted a guitar and then eventually got a ukulele, too. I am really enjoying playing both but the guitar is what really gets me fired up and excited to play all the time lately.

Have fun and happy learning!

Hello James

welcome from the Tyne Valley, N East

Seems we're all in the same camp here.

Bought electric so I could play badly, quietly.

Then an acoustic to find the differences. [br]Electric definitely easier and helped greatly from trying the acoustic.

Then just for the fun of it got myself a Uke at Xmas.

I'm now relatively useless at all three but totally enjoying the slow progress. [br]Dave, 66, Newcastle
