Hello all,

I've "wanted" to learn to play guitar for couple of decades. I use the quotes because I had a guitar loaned to me by a friend 20 years ago sitting in my garage, but I never really tried to learn. I was pulling down Halloween decorations in mid-October 2020 and saw the beat up old case and brought it into my home office. I used Youtube to learn a few chords and then an ad for Guitar Tricks came up so I signed up.

I try to practice every day and have made it though the full beginner course, but I still go back and play the beginner songs for the chord progression practice.

I'm also learning a couple of easy songs from the tutorials. My wife got me a couple of song books, but it is so nice to hear and watch someone explain the rythmic strums and chord progressions.

Having a blast, growing my callouses, and challenging my brain. I wish I'd have found this 20 years ago.

Awesome! Hooray for garage finds!

Yes, the "Made Easy" songs on here are great, it's mostly what I've been learning. They are easy to search for as well.

Have fun!
