Hi,

[br]I currently am playing an acoustic, but am ready to take the jump to an electric. I have been playing for about 7 months, and have completed GF 1 and 2, and am up to the soloing part of Blues 1. I haven't dabbled much in Rock 1, since it seems like an electric would be more beneficial. I am practicing finger picking in Acoustic 1, but feel way more passionate about wanting to try some electric stuff. My original intent was to play classic rock and metal, but now am realizing how much fun it is to play blues as well. And I am also enjoying playing pop songs too. Any ideas of what electric would accommodate all this? Looking for something in the under $1000 range. And also, I am left handed. Maybe I should have taken Lisa's advice and learned to play righty!
