Eisele24, the primary consideration should be do whichever one interests you the most. After all, if you're not interested, you won't stay motivated and stick with it.

I was in the same spot as you a couple of months ago, finishing Fundamentals 2 and deciding which genre to do next. The deciding point for me is that Blues is the foundation of Rock, especially early Rock. So I am currently working my way through Blues 1 and working on songs in both the Rock and Blues genres. The plan is to move onto Rock once I finish the Blues. But that's me.

Based on different postings to this Forum, many have gone directly to Rock.

In the end, do whichever feels right for you.
