Especially since this is done on-line via webcam and mic, how was your experience doing the on-line one on one lesson via Guitartricks.com?

I booked a few lessons with Dave Celentano and it was great. In one lesson I was struggling with finding a bridge for a song I was writing and he actually came up with the bridge. Great guy.

I think you'll be happy.

This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

Had my one on one today with Anders. A 60 minute session which got me real nervous like joining a gym for the first time. Anders is a very relaxed guy and has a great balance between philosophy and focusing on technique and such.

The lesson really added value to the programs here on GT because it's direct feedback where improvement is needed but also to see where you are at as a guitar player.

I have only been playing for 3 months but to hear my bare chords are already well developed (maybe because of my weird fingers lol) is very cool. But no, I also worked hard. Never skipped a day in last 3 months and always 45 minutes or more following the program.

if in doubt to get a one on one, do it!!

my setup was:

laptop connected to Sonos trough hdmi so heard Anders really well

Yamaha thr10ii with Fender + bought a good usb studio mic (didn't want to risk it with just a laptop mic)

cheap webcam of 30 euro

And just to be sure: UTP instead of WiFi

Sharing experiences of online one-on-one lessons via Guitartricks.com, especially through webcam and mic interactions, is valuable. Discussing the overall experience, challenges, and benefits can help others considering similar lessons. It offers insights into the effectiveness of the platform, fostering a community dialogue about online music education.

I’d love to have one on one lessons with Christoper, Mike, or Tom Finch. I’d probably spend most of the time finding out how their prodigal minds process the music.
the longer you’ve been playing, the more respect you’ll have for these guitar stalwarts.
