Will improve with practice. Continue to go slow and build up speed (tempo) as you can.

I think it is very important to be working on material that is interesting to us. But having said that, I guess there is material I need to continue working on that is boring, but without maintaining the practice (I am talking scales) I tend to lose muscle memory fairly quickly. But then again, it will come back quickly once I start again.
