In "real world" lessons, you typically go once a week and practice practice and practice until the next lesson...

I received the email from Ben where the recommendation is 20 minutes every other day re practice.....

fine...cool

However, what do people recommend

1) stick with the step, lesson until mastery (and what is considered mastery for that lesson)

2) repeat the step, lesson you are on for a week? Two and then move on?

Generally, what do people recommend for the timing, repitition and moving on red steps, lesson?

Thanks

Hey Slashorn! Great question, this one comes up a lot. Guitar Tricks is a unique program because you can go at your own pace depending on your level. That being said, it might be easy to go too fast, while at the same time it's really no fun to stick to the same lesson over and over and over. There is definitely a fine balance which reallly depends on your goal. All that being said, As long as you practice the lesson through the week, a good pace is one new lesson per week. You can review the previous lesson, then learn the next lesson each session! If you ever find that you are going too fast, stick with a lesson for a couple weeks, then move on.

Hope this helps!
