I've rarely come across bad springs in a floyd - unless they rust or bust or something. Is your bridge coming up out of the boday ? Is the screw (inside back) turned all the way into the body ? Normally a few turns of the screw will get the tension back on the bridge. (so it sets flush with the body). -Bob
