Ive played for a while now, but i never learned how to pic. Ive been watching the lesson for hotel California which I'm learning (slowly) but i have most of the beginning down. I'm using my fingers though and the teacher is using a pic. I always stop trying to use a pic because it slows me down, so i was wondering if anyone has some good suggestions of lessons to use to just work on the pic. That way i can just devote that time separately and hopefully get faster to the point that i can match my fingers. Sorry for long winded question. Thanks
What lessons to watch to practice using a pic
Hi Matt
From my own experience, just practicing songs, scales etc is what worked for me. Made this for you, hope you get something out of it, good luck
This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

These lessons are about the basic mechanics of right hand picking. It's essentially a matter of learning to use efficiency of motion.

These lessons focus on individual strings aimed at playing linear scale lines.

This tutorial is aimed at arpeggiating chord tones.

thanks asking question sometimes I get so fous on learning other things I forget important things as well like
righthand picking
I been working on righthand picking and I notice I aim at or to try just think about like using paint brush just slowly feather the tip string back and forth
maybe this might help when you start feel any tension all stop what your doing and just relax just for a moment then start up again rinse and repeat if notice
any tension
thanks Chris for links as well q
is a good idea, yeah? Lord please help me
