I love guitar. My first memories are of my dad and his guitars and me playing with them. I've always wanted to play guitar but when my mom and step dad got me an acoustic guitar, I found it difficult to maneuver it let alone think about playing it. I convinced myself that me being petite with tiny hands meant it wasn't for me.

I'm 35 now and realized I've learned and done so much I never thought possible so why shouldn't I learn guitar? AND with the help of the resources here I was directed to the fact that you can actually get guitars for small handed people. So that's mindblowing.

I have subscribed for the year, started at the very beginning and am eager to see what I can do!

Hi and welcome,

Learning guitar can be frustrating but we all go through it. Patience and practice are your 2 best friends.

Best of luck with your studies.

This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

Welcome!

I always wanted to play guitar too. But I didn't get into it until this summer when my boyfriend gave me an acoustic and electric guitar. I never had the confidence built up that I could learn something new like this. But then I thought back to last year when I taught myself how to sew. I never imagined I could do that either! But we always seem to surprise ourselves in what we can do.

I am in the beginning as well. (Fundamentals 1) You will love this site!

Welcome! I was feeling like the only girl with a guitar there for awhile on this forum. Nice to see that's changing!
