I always wanted to play guitar, but whatever reason, never did. So now, at 46, I finally am. And it's going great. Lisa is an amazing instructor and really gets you motivated. My original goal was to learn to play some metal riffs, but Lisa is so good, that I truly enjoy playing her - I think it's country - songs. My calluses are working out really well, and now I'm focusing on switching chords faster and more accurately, along with improving my strumming - and of course, still working on that pesky F chord![br][br]

Almost done with guitar fundamentals 1, looking forward to fundamentals 2 and beyond!

Hi and welcome Josh,

Great to hear you are enjoying learning guitar.

Keep practicing. That's the key.

This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

Welcome!

I agree, Lisa is really great. Congrats on picking up the guitar. I am in a similar stage with Fundamentals and am working on switching chords and now strumming. As I'm sure you are, I am so impressed with the lessons and song library on here.
