I know there are a few people here who have the Boss Katana amp(s). Does anyone have a trusted repsository for patches? I am looking for a Chuck Berry patch to compliment a song I am learning.
This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

I did a quick search & found this:
https://guitarpatches.com/patches.php?mode=show&unit=Katana&ID=11995
But I didn't try it so I can't verify it's accuracy.
I also found this:

And I think this guys gets the basics right.
1. Bridge position humbucker.
2. Fender model amp (Twin or Showman, some silverface model is likely what Berry actually used).
3. 50% gain & level (because the amp probably didn't have a master volume plus gain you want to simulate a lot of natural power tube saturation).
4. 100% bright (simulates the Bright switch on those old Fender amps)
5. 100% treble, 50% (or lower) mids & bass (for that treble heavy biting sound!)
6. A little reverb.
Crank it & hit those double stops! :) Hope that helps!

Thanks Christopher, yes indeed, double stops. Chuck wrote music that is just plain fun to play!
