I currently own an SE Custom 24 from the exotic wood run and I have specifically a spalted maple top (definitely has burl in it from what I see) in vintage sunburst. I love it but I will definitely upgrade in the future.

I haven't played too many S2's or CE 24's or a core yet. I really like tuning stability when it comes to my guitars, and I had to get locking tuners for my SE because tuning stability isn't the best.

What would you recommend for me? I will most likely buy one in a few years, but I would like to think about it.

I really love the CE's but I am open to suggestions.

Thanks!

If you had tuning instability with the SE, the problem is usually the nut or the bridge staddles unless you are stringing the guitar improperly. If you like the feel of a prs, then go with whatever your budget allows for. I currently have a s2 standard 22 as my main guitar. And I really like it.

I have 3 PRS guitars and they are, without question, my favorites. I have a Paul's, a Santana and a Hollowbody I. But it would help if you gave us: 1) an approximate budget, and 2) What genre of music you like. I have to run right now but will get back to you.
