Me and 2 guys from my orginal band have decided to start a cover band and play some rock songs and through that earn some money. We have been doing that for 2 months now and have nearly 30 songs.

What I wonder is will these songs do it. They aren´t difficlt at all for us ´cause we always play them through whitout any difficulties but will the regular people find it good. We have a girl who´s singin´ and she sings very nice and look nice to.

Here´s a couple songs and after tell me if you think that it´s the right collection (remember that we will play at pubs and clubs where´s any kind of music lovin´ people:

Detroit Rock City
Wild World
Are You Gonna Go My Way
Tush
Sultans Of Swing
Hotel California
Rock The Night
Highway To Hell
Crazy Train
Paranoid
Heart Of Glass (by Blondie)
Eye Of The Tiger
Rock You Like A Huricane
Cats In The Cradle
Ain´t Talkin´ ´Bout Love
We´re Not Gonna Take It
Livin´ After Midnight
Here I Go Again

We got some more but I can´t recall ´em all.

So, what do you think and do you got any ideas of what else we could play that fits.

As you have material by several different bands there, decide which of the songs you feel you work best with as a band and go for some more covers of stuff by the same band.

Here are a few good songs I jam with a few friends of mine, the crowd should enjoy them...

Creep - Stone Temple Pilots
Heart Shaped Box - Nirvana
Rooster - Alice in Chains
Spoon Man - Soungarden
Tomorrow - Silverchair
Once - Pearl Jam
My Own Summer - Deftones

Enjoy!

Dejan,
You've got a good mix there. Here's some standards my old band used to play.

La Grange - ZZ Top
Mustang Sally - god knows who originally did it
White Room - Cream
CrossRoads - Cream
Rockin' Me Baby - Steve Miller
Enter Sandman - Metallica
For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica
Bunch of Green Day tunes - Longview, Basketcase, When I come Around
Couple Ramones tunes - Sedated, Blitzkrieg Bop
Voodoo Chile, Foxy Lady = Hendrix
Man in the Box - Alice in Chains
Plush - Stone Temple Pilots
Rock ' N' Roll, Whole Lotta Love - Zeppelin
Crazy Train - Ozzy (my lead sucked)
Paranoid - Sabbath
Gimme 3 Steps - Lynard Skynard
and a Living on Tulsa Time/Achey Breaky Heart Medley we did as a joke. Drunks never could tell it wasn't the same song....
