Crate Blue Voodoo
Does anyone have this half stack? I've messed with it in Guitar Center but you can't really crank it up in there. I've been thinking about buying it because i can't afford a cool Marshall. I think Marty Friedman plays with the blue voodoo. Anyone got any thoughts?

A friend of mine has one. It sounds pretty good, especially with a Blues Driver, for Vintage Rock to today's alternative. The only bad thing about it is that it's HUGE. With most tube amps, you really have to crank them up to get a good tone out of them, and you'll kill anything within 100 feet if you put the Blue Voodoo above 3 volume. If you're going to play a stadium or big outdoor gigs, god for it, but if you'll be playing at home, small clubs/bars, etc, you should probably go for a smaller amp.
