I am one of the old geezers(71 I think). Just bought my first guitar in June, 2020. I always wanted to learn to play but always had excuses. When the pandemic hit, I decided that it was time. I have only been on guitar tricks for 6 weeks but I have learned so much. Even though I have been discouraged at times, I have not missed a day of practice. I don't know what I can achieve at my age and my expectations are modest. Anyway, it is great to be here.
