Is it better for me to get the ($100) Crate amp w/ reverb or could I get a good sound from a reverb pedal (like the Danelectro Corned Beef, $40) and still use the amp from the Ibanez pack?

I'm a fairly beginning guitarist (about 6 mos now), and my practice amp doesn't have reverb.
