amp trouble
I own a marshall G30R CD model, and when ever I turn up the volume on the distortied channel, it pops really loud. Also when I hit the distortion, it does this really funny buzzing sound kinda like a shocking sound. It's not feedback though, and I've only had the amp for about a year now. I thought it might just need to be taken apart and cleaned, but today I took off the volume knob and I think it has a short in it, coz when I barely even touched it without the knob it poped. Can anyone hear tell me what it could be, and what I should do?

I can think of 3 possible problems, and their are probably at least 3 more possibilities than I haven't thought of, but you asked what you should do, I can give you an answer that I'm 100% sure of, take your amp to a good tech, preferably an Authorized Marshall Service Center, that usally fixes the problem..............
