So I've started learning strumming patterns and chord changes. But when I try upstrum, the high E string keeps on ringing. When I do the same exercise on electric gutair, I do not run into any problems.
Has anyone faced the same issue ? Or any idea what I could be doing wrong ?

you should try and slow it down and deconstruct how you are strumming each guitar. I can only assume if the high E is ringing out it is because it is being struck with the pick.
This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

I am picking all the higher strings, It's not that I am picking only the high E
