I just got back from a friends house & while their I played his Gibson ES 335 & thought it had such great sound & tone(he ran it to a Fender Hot Rod DLX amp).After he told me how much he payed for it I had to pick my jaw up from the ground.I searched the net for the least expensive ES335 but they're all way up there in price so I saw Epiphone had a ES335(the Dot) copy.I read reviews about it & the people all seem to say it's not that good to get.So my question is this-are there any hollow body electrics that are just as good as the ES335 but not as pricey?
