thatz a bit difficult to tell because even if you have the same equipment and all, you do not necessarily sound like them, because especially on CD-recodings, there is alot of EQ work done on guitartracks, and you never know what amp/effect they use when recording in studio - so the sound is influenced by alot of things. you might get close ba just trying over and over and experimenting with sounds, but you´ll probably not get 100%.

And as for other guitarists like Jeff Beck for example´- you wont sound like them even if they invited you to try their original setup with their original guitars - its all in those dudes fingers. thatz what makes a guitarist a good guitarist. and if he knows exactly what a song needs to sound better without playing too much or too little, thats what makes a good guitarist a good musician.
