Playing along with Darling destination and What love can do - trying to keep up at 0.75 and 1.0x, think I may be strumming hard, but all of sudden picking up feedback coming out of guitar, particularly on D chord, lower e.g. G / Em not so much; almost strumming fast lots of strings vibrating and this sound revibrates out particularly on D chord which is off putting......any ideas on what I am doing wrong. Am to D, D really drones.

Guitar shop has said BE strings often have an elongated drone that holds for a while, so perhaps I need to get use to it.

Thanks

Richard

Hey Richard -- if it's easy for you to shoot a little video of this happening, that might help.

Is this resonating coming out of an amp, or is it coming from the body of your guitar (unplugged)? If it's coming out of the guitar itself (not plugged in), it might be a part on it loose or vibrating. If you're on an electric, it's possible that it's a string resonating back behind the bridge, or the springs in your tremolo (in which case you can stick little rubber bands in them -- I do this on some of my guitars to stop that sound).

Brand and model of guitar and any other details can help...

-Carl.

Carl, hopefully this works, bit at the end you can hear the ringing just D chord but perhaps that is the norm as it reviberates. Thanks. Richard

Hi Richard, I tried to view the video but it looks like you have it set to Private. :(
