Any Strumming routines/exercises ?

I'm currently going through the Guitar Fundamentals 1 course (I'm thoroughly enjoying it !) and I was looking at the strumming pattern lessons and I was able to understand the concept clearly (Brilliant Instructor !). Towards the end of the lessons there was a mention of the "best strumming pattern" or one of the common patterns around (D_DU_UDU).

I was not able to find any other patterns that I could practice to improve my strumming, I was wondering if there were any lessons/videos which deal with the same. I definitely understand that once the basics are set, then I can proceed. Just wanted to know if there is some additional resources which I have not found yet. I did quickly go through the lesson structure for Guitar Fundamentals 2 and did not see any strumming related lessons there.

I know that Anders has a series of lessons on strumming as does Lisa. You can use the search engine to see what GT has. Also, you might want to check out videos by Marty Schwartz. He has some good instructional videos on strumming patterns.
