Having picked up my brother's battered old acoustic guitar back in my teens and finding the discipline beyond me, I just didn't like sitting through guitar lessons, I always swore I'd return to it at some point. We recently moved to a house big enough that I could practice without making others to cry, so I dusted off the acoustic even though it's neck is cracked and I have to keep tuning it during lessons, and had a look at the online lessons that were available. As others have said, Guitar Tricks appeals because it builds on getting solid skills before moving on to the more complicated stuff. Mind you, once the shops open again, I will be getting myself a new guitar...

Welcome Craig. I applaud you for working with what you have available for now instead of waiting.

Good luck![br][br]

Dave...

It takes as long as it takes unless you quit - then it takes forever and you will never get there.

Thanks, Dave. When I get to a reasonably proficiency in the next few months, I'm going spring for something that'll going to be a bit more fun to play - I'm considering a Breedlove, Alvarez or Sigma at the moment.
