Simple chords vs full chords

I have been following the beginner programme, but as I can do some full chords I am trying to use them instead. Am I trying to walk before I crawl by doing this? Should I stick to the programme or try and jump straight to the full chords even though it is much more difficult to switch and keep time?

I suggest you strick with what Lisa is showing you. We have the lessons set up so that they build on one another. You learn the simple chords to get a feel for the full chords, and soon enough she will show you the full chords as well.

Stick to the process and you will be good!

Thanks for the advice. I will stick to the lesson plan from now on. I have read that it is a good idea to learn scales, assume I can do this alongside the beginner tutorials?
