Cmaj help

I've been working on playing guitar for almost 3 weeks. I've learned the 5 chord power pack but i'm having a real hard time getting my ring finger to reach the 6th string 3rd fret. Especially without muting the 5th string. Anyone have any ideas or tricks for reach?

Hi Russ,

Try moving your elbow forward a bit. This will change the angle of the fingers on the fretboard.
