Well after dealing with a bridge problem on last guitar and going back and forth between acoustics and electrics I decided to stick with the mellow and simple sound of the acoustic guitar and today became the proud owner of this baby.

A Breedlove Discovery Concerto CE. They refer to these as a B-Stock. Basically anything that is left over from previous years or has a minor cosmetic blemish. This one is a 2018 and if there is a blemish I certaintly can't notice.

I see a lot of post from beginners asking what guitar to buy and I can tell you these are a great option. They're priced just under $500 and I got another $100 off from current deals they are running on them. So for all you beginners looking in this ballpark or maybe some of you more advanced players out there you gotta look at these.

For those of you unfamiliar Breedlove was started by two guys who worked at Taylor. Located in Oregon. This particular model is made in China but Engineered, and QC'd at their location in Oregon, USA. All setup and tested at the factory so nothing to do but I'll put a new set of strings on them soon.

Great sound, easy to play, slim neck, and a unique pinless bridge. You feed the strings from the back of the bridge so no pins to break or lose making string changes a little easier. Solid Sitka top and Layered Mahogany sides and back. Graphite nut and saddle. It has a Fishman pickup with built in tuner and comes with a good quality nylon bag. I highly recommend. Many more reviews and videos on them on youtube.

Happy player here.

Hey, very nice, Moe! Congratulations on your new family member! :-)

It takes as long as it takes unless you quit - then it takes forever and you will never get there.

Thanks Guys, you know one thing I learned about buying guitars is there's never an owners manual telling you how to operate them.

Oh right that's what this site is for. Ok back to practice.

Looks very nice, I've heard good things about Breedlove guitars but haven't had a chance to play one myself yet.

I love the Breedloves. Great guitar, especially in the entry level end too.
