Hello!
/ Quite frankly, you can start playing with any kind of guitar. With the kind of music you listen to, you may be thinking more in the lines of an electric guitar, but it has to be your choice. Whatever sound you like best. Also think about the guitar ergonomics, not simply the looks. You need to be kept motivated (guitar looks help), but think that you will spend hours sitting with the guitar in your lap. So a weird looking shape (or even some standard ones such as LPs, which have a weird balance when resting on a leg and quite sharp contours) might not be ideal as a first guitar. The best thing is to try them out (harder under current conditions).
/ Your fingers will learn slower than your head. So you will gradually pick up the theory as you go along.
/ More than enough. In electric guitars, you can find a nice starter guitar (Yamaha, Cort, Harley Benton, etc) for under 200 USD + a cheap amp.
/ That is a complicated question. It depends on how you manage with your right hand. Some left handed people have good dexterity with their right hand. And that would open way more possibilities with regards to guitars to buy, etc. But you need to try first.
