guitar pick on nylon acoustic / use of foot stool

Dear all,

do you use a guitar pick on a nylon acoustic as well of just on a steel string guitar?

Second question, can I use a foot stool when playing on a steel string guitar? This because the guitar tends to slip away from my knee.

You can definitley use a pick with a nylon stringed guitar. That's totally okay.

You can use a footstool if you like! There are no rules to how one plays, as long as you hit the notes and chords correctly for whichever song or exercise you're doing, that's all that matters!
