Hi I'm Willow. I've actually owned my guitar since high school (25ish years)

I bought it when I was 14 with paper route money!

My first teacher quit teaching after a month due to health issues. The school I went to only offered band instrument lessons.

In college the teacher was creepy and talked about how much his ex wife hated him and hit on all the female students so I quit him.

Coronavirus made me sort of realize how short and precious life is. And I dont want to die someday owning a guitar I've always wanted to be able to play and never learned!

I've tried learning on my own but never could figure out where to start!

I'm cautiously optimistic that this site is what I've been needing.

Thanks for listening,

Hope to get to know some of you as we all learn.

Willow

Hi Willow,

I'm so glad to hear you're taking up guitar! Paper route money definitely brings back memories for me as well!

Anyways, let us know if you have any questions about the lessons.

Welcome !

You`re in the right place. I`ve been here for 3 months and have learned a ton of stuff !Learning to play a musical instrument is one of the most challenging yet rewarding pursuits in life. It`s something you`ll have forever. Keep at it. Good luck.
