Ok mickiebb, you have a nice guitar and a nice setup, so you ought to be a campfire sensation in a week or two -- no excuses! [br][br]

Seriously though, welcome, there are a bunch of us folks in our 50s and beyond trying to learn to play the guitar here. Just about every one of us says we always wanted to be able to play and most of us ask if it's too late to start now. Of course it is never too late to start. [br][br]

Good luck, try to be patient and persistent, but don't forget to enjoy the journey. [br][br]

Hi,

I just joined the site after a year and a half of more or less scrambling around in the dark and almost giving up. Got myself a year membership to give me a kick up the arse and keep me motivated.

Good luck to you and anybody really who is trying to learn. I've found it quite hard and a bit confusing so far but I think that's because I've been going down the YouTube route. I hope this site delivers what it promises.

Take care and fingers crossed for you!

Welcome all!! You've come to the rigth place if you really want to learn the FOUNDATIONS of how to play the kind of music you want to be able to get really good at. YouTube has some good moments, but this is the real deal for education.

congrats and welceome!

G'day theMolster. Definitely an Aussie with that grammar and spelling.

Guitar Tricks definitely has the structure & tools to "deliver". A structured syllabus supported by excellent tuitorials from its current instructional cadre, but it's a reciprocal relationship pretty much like any good marriage should be. Once the honeymoon is over, only works if commitment and prerequisite effort is put into it by both parties. All the best. Enjoy the journey.
