Hi guys

i'm new to the sight. I have loved guitars all my life and always wanted to learn but we never had the money when I was a kid. I tried a couple of times in my late 20's but just got frustrated. [br]I went for a couple of lessons but he just had me playing 'heartbeat' (theme tune for a poor tv program in the Uk) and I soon lost interest. [br]last year I thought I'd give it another shot and bought a guitar. Got totally confused and frustrated and again it went back in the spare room. [br]when the covid 19 lock down started I was talking to a friend and decided I was going to use this for something good and really try and learn the guitar. [br]i'm 4 weeks in and still going strong. I've not given up, my guitar has pride and place in my living room and am practicing almost every day. [br]I love the guitar and hoping with preservence and hard work I will one day be able to call myself a guitarist. Xx

Hi toni.carroll,

Glad to have you on board! I'm sorry you had to play old tv show themes a bunch but hopefully with our lessons, you'll actually have fun and learn a thing or two!

Let us know if you have questions!

Welcome !

You`re in the right place. I just finished GF1 and 2 and can say without a doubt I`ve learned a ton of stuff and it has definitely kept me motivated. Guitar is like so many other things: The more you learn the more you want to learn. The better you get at it, the more fun it becomes ! Enjoy the journey.
