Hi there just started re learning the guitar im loving it but struggle with learning the fretboard and remembering scales. I was wondering what people think is the best way to practice these things any exercises in particular that really help with remembering these things cheers any advice would be much appriciated.

Are you working on being able to figure out the notes at different positions on the fretboard (e.g., based on their relation to fretboard landmarks and so on), or being able to immediately identify them (based on their position alone). There are several things you need to know and for the first. I think the 2nd is basically lots of experience. I haven't used that fretboard trainer until just now but it's kind of fun (even though I'm no where close to the high scores posted there) and probably helpful.

I have a very bad memory, so this method helped me a lot.
