I am brand new to trying to play. I can see how the lession build on each other, so my question is simple . Should I stay on a lession till I have completely mastered it without any mistakes or timing issues? or is it better to move forward if you kinda have it down but are getting buned out staying in the same place. Instructors please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I`m not an instructor so take this for what it`s worth. I found that I`ve been able to progress through the lessons fairly smoothly ( almost done with GF2) as long as I`m able to understand the concepts in the lesson and can play the song or musical phrase included in that lesson pretty well about 80% of the time. I feel at that point that " I`ve gotten it." Of course, if it`s a song that I`m going to play in front of others, I`ll try to nail it down as tight as I can.

Hope that can be of some help.
