Now that I'm at home 24/7 with the COVID-19 restriction, I pulled out the Oscar Schmidt from its 20-year hiding place - the attic. I was pleasantly surprised that the only thing wrong with it was the bridge was pulling up. Fixed that and loaded up some new strings and then stared at it with a "what now?" expression. I know, YouTube.

That worked for a while, but information is scattered at best and confusing at worst. I got in a rut with practicing the eight chords I knew, two pentatonic scales, and one major scale. I didn't know where to go next.

Guitar Tricks here I come. I sure hope you're worth it. I've heard good things about you. I hope we have a lasting, fruitful relationship that brings years of enjoyment and satisfaction.

Until next time...

Ted

Hi t2true,

Thanks for checking out our lessons! I hope you get a lot of good practice time in with your Oscar Schmidt.

If you're interestedin in pentatonic scales, major scale, etc, I suggest you do a refersher course, with the Guitar Fundamentals Level 2 here: https://www.guitartricks.com/course.php?input=fundamentals2

I suggest you start with Chapter 2 since it talks about the major scale.
