Evening All,

Firstly, I hope you are all healthy and sane at this point in time and if you are not, then get well soon.

Secondly, Does anyone have any tips for stretching across 5 frets? I'm trying to learn Spanish Romance and there is a part that requires a barre on the 7th fret whilst plucking the high E on the 11th. I am practising daily but progress is slow. So, i'm hoping for some tips to give increased efficiency when i practise this part.

Apologies if this has already been discussed. I did a search but coudn't find a thread that helped.

Thanks in advance,

K

[p]That exact fingering stretch is used in Tarrega's Adelita. I cover it in this tutorial.

That particular stretch is in lesson 6.

In order to build strength & dexterity in your pinky these exercises can help.

Hope that helps!

Hello Christopher!

Didn't realise the instructors would help and advise! That's great!

I will check out the links you have provided.

Thankyou very much :-)
