Hello, I'm Charles from Ashland Virginia. I got my first guitar at age 13. It was a Sears model and I think it cost $13. I'm 72 years old and still wanting to learn guitar. Over the past 60 years I've pick up the guitar and put it down many times. Early days there were just song books. Parents couldn't afford lessons. Then DVDs. Now YouTube and on line classes. I've tried them all. So I found this place and it looked very structured and goal oriented. I've started at the beginning to see how many bad habits I've picked up. So far Lisa and I are getting along. I'm glad I'm here. [br][br]

Hi Charles. Welcome to the forums.

You've come to the right place.

As you've deduced, the syllabus with it's progressive lesson structure here is the key, and Guitar Tricks' core strength.

[br]All the best with your journey.
