Hi,

As a starting guitar player I'm scrolling through the (great) music library Guitartricks has. Although I'm playing an electric guitar, I don't have a specific music preference. I would like to suggest a filter option where I can select the type of guitar (classic, acoustic, electric, bass etc) and the appropriate songs pop up.

Thank you for your time,

Tim

Hmmm...

I'm not sure there is an "appropriate song" for guitar type. Most songs can be played electric or acoustic. OK, maybe "folk"songs are most often done on acoustic. But you would probably filter those by genre.

Clapton plays "Layla", or has, on both electric and acoustic.

Neal Young has performed many of his songs, "Cowgirl in the Sand" and others, both acoustic and electric.

And on and on.

If you have a song you like just learn it and play it on whichever guitar you prefer.
