Another Newbie Intro | Story Time

Hello everyone,

Just dropping by to introduce myself!

[br]I'm very new to everything guitar and in fact I just got my very first acoustic guitar last Friday and already signed up here the next day so that should give you an idea of how excited and commited I am on this long journey of learning ahead of me.

Started and spent half of my day yesterday with Lisa's fundamentals and I must say that for someone like me who's just starting out from scratch I really find this whole format very beginner friendly, engaging and fun.

Yes, it's quite a struggle trying to coordinate my hands right now and also trying to stretch my fingers out to reach the right strings and positions but I expected as much.

I knew it wasn't going to be easy but with practice, great platform / community / instructors here and lots of perseverance I'm determined to one day be able to play some of my favourite songs.

I've always admired people who played instruments and I'd be lying if I said I didn't dream of being able to do so myself but just always been hesitant to try knowing that I'm not really blessed with such talent.

Then a special inspiration came along recently and here I am more determined than ever.

So that's my story.

Sorry about the wall of text. I have a tendency to write more than necessary sometimes but looking forward to learning and improving together with everyone here!

Thank you William! Been reading other posts here on the forum while I'm not at home to practice and it's really great to see how helpful and welcoming everyone is here.
